Games are expensive, especially when they are brand new at $60 a pop.
A great way to buy cheap games is to use humblebundle. Besides the fact you can pay a minimum of $1 for select games and more than the average for all games, usually below $10, a portion of your payment goes to charities that you can choose.
The games aren't always great, but I have gotten it twice and have gotten well over $200-$300 worth of high quality games for around $10.
