Heres a small shopping tip that some people may not be aware of.
If you've noticed, many grocery products will have a price or cents per ounce label.
For example an 80 ounce shredded bag of cheese is $6.
The tag would say 7.5 cents an ounce...wouldn't that be nice!
If there is no tag, simply divide the price by the ounces, using cents instead of the dollar.
So you would do this...
600($6) / 80 = 7.5
In general a bigger package of the same product will be more expensive, but also cheaper in the sense of cents per ounce.
